[edit] Information

Australia's Deadliest: Shark Coast On a beautiful Saturday morning, 22-year-old Matt Holmes and his mates were surfing the perfect spot - but that all changed when Matt witnessed fellow surfer Ben Linden being taken by a 5-meter shark. Ben would become the 5th shark attack victim in the space of 10 months and Western Australia would now become the deadliest shark attack zone on the planet. Investigations reveal just one suspect, The Great White Shark, responsible for all five fatalities and numerous chilling close encounters. The Department of Fisheries claim that White Shark attacks in Western Australia have increased over the past two decades at a rate faster than human population growth. So what is behind this rise in deadly shark encounters? What is attracting these underwater killers to this particular coastline? Should we be protecting the ocean's Apex predator?
