Larry Grayson was one of the biggest television stars of the 1970s and 1980s. This feature-length documentary examines his journey from a childhood of poverty in the industrial Midlands to the very top in British entertainment. With reference to Larry's previously-undiscovered autobiography draft, the film looks at how Larry persevered until finding fame at the age of fifty, when he was suddenly an overnight sensation on television after a long wait.
