[edit] Information
Retired north east cop Jacqui is just one of the millions of people across the UK who have taken up cold water swimming. After 30 years of service, she has had to deal with horrific crimes involving children and vulnerable adults, and she says swimming in the icy sea has done wonders for her mental and physical wellbeing. Always eager to help others, Jacqui has persuaded Kirk, a recovering alcoholic, and Sarah-Jane, who is in remission from a rare type of leukaemia, to take the cold water challenge.
