A documentary about the traditional Korean costume called Hanbok. The first part looks into the Hanbok of the past and identifies the meaning and value of the traditional clothing. The second part looks into its role played in the 21st century, how it has been re-fashioned and reborn for daily use. "The idea of a Hanbok documentary came with the rise of the Korean Wave, the popularity of Korean cultural products abroad," according to Park Byung-kyu, the producer and director of the film. "We wanted to take an in-depth approach to Korean culture, together with other major Korean brands." Other unique Korean "Han-" brands include Hangeul (Korean writing system), Hanok (Korean houses), Hansik (Korean food), Hanji (Korean paper) and Hankuk Eumak (Korean music).
