[edit] From Ffaldybrenin to China
In February 1870 a young man from Ffaldybrenin arrived in Yantai, one of a wave of early missionaries to China. According to some, Timothy Richard was the most important missionary to China ever, from any nation. But he was much more than that, he saved the lives of thousands of people by fighting hunger, he got to know the Emperor and he campaigned for the development of the country.
