This is a documentary about Warsaw and the process of its destuction and rebuliding of the city. The film is based on unique movie material from the Second World War (with some material filmed by the Polish army during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944). The film shows the destruction of the Polish capital, which was also part of communist propaganda - 75 % of the buildings were destoyed by German army and by order from Hitler it was supposed to vanish forever. The film has five chapters: Undefeated, Building Warsaw, The January suite, Warsaw is fighting and Warsaw Calendar 1945-1946.
